The Preschool at Early Start Academy provides an enriched social and learning experience for children ages 3-5. Classrooms offer a safe, low-ratio learning environment. Our highly trained and educated staff foster your child's cognitive, language, motor, and social development through fun and engaging lessons. The program promotes maximum growth for all learners during their critical early childhood years.

Hello! My name is Miss Christine Malloy! I am very excited about all of the fun and interesting learning opportunities your child will have this year. Thank you in advance for all of your continued support! A little bit about me: I graduated from William Paterson with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, Special Education and Psychology. This is my 4th year teaching, I have taught Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st grade! I love to craft and spend time with family and friends, especially my pups, Oakley and Sierra!
Tara Sheerin

Hi! My name is Tara Sheerin and I am so looking forward to meeting and getting to know your children and families. A little bit about me: I received my Bachelors in Psychology, Teaching Certification, Masters in Special Education, and Board Certification in Behavior Analysis at Rutgers University. I have been lucky enough to spend the last 23 years working with children as a teacher, consultant, trainer, and administrator. I love the beach and spending time with my son, family, and friends.
Our Curriculum
The Preschool at Early Start Academy uses The Creative Curriculum to prepare the children for success in school and in life with the leading research based, whole-child curriculum built for early childhood educators. The classroom is designed with 11 interest areas set up for the children to experience and learn. The classroom has areas for blocks, art, discovery, library, dramatic play, toys and games, sand and water, music and movement, cooking, computers, and outdoors.
